Villa del Palmar Cancun Luxury Beach Resort & SPA

My family and I stayed at Villa Del Palmar from a Sunday to a Friday, and it was truly the best experience. I had never stayed at an all-inclusive resort, but kind of had an idea of what to expect. WOW, expectations were exceeded by far. The personal butlers, Rafael and Arad made us feel so welcome. Anytime we needed anything, they were just a text away. Our suite was absolutely amazing. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, and we were constantly restocked on any drink or snack that we could possibly want. Our balcony was huge. Each room had a door that led to the outside, as well as a few other sliding glass doors as well. The views were so beautiful. We made reservations each night for dinner and the food was so delicious. One night we had our own private chef and wait staff. They cooked a wonderful meal that we will never forget right in our villa. Each morning we would get texts from Rafael and Arad telling us good morning and asking what our plans were for the day so they could help accommodate in any way. If we go back, which I hope and plan to, I will be requesting these two for sure! I would highly recommend staying at Villa Del Palmar!

Villa del Palmar was an awesome family property. LOTS of families, so if you’re planning on coming to this property w a goal to have a an adult or elevated experience, I’d suggest trying their sister property nextdoor, Garza Blanca. We’re a family of 4 with kids ages 7 and 10, VDP was perfect. We only left the resort 2X for excursions but stayed on property for 7 full days. There are no “clubs” or evening experiences for adults aside from local musicians nightly at an open air stage-that’s at Garza. There’s Legends the sports grill that has a bar frequented by Millennials (40-60 yr olds). There is NOTHING around the property entertainment or restaurant wise and taxis are grossly expensive. (A 10 minute 8 mile ride was $65 USD) You can wait for the bus but it’s inconsistent schedule, often crowded & poor bus stand. Staying w/o doing All-Inclusive is a huge fail. We were all inclusive for the duration of our stay, but on our last we paid out of pocket for the ocean grill, Bites; 4 chicken tenders, a personal pizza & cheeseburger w beer = $74 USD. My biggest disappointment in the experience overall was the inability to personalize. It was a milestone bday trip for me & my husband asked for our suite to decorated, similar to what you see in photos (A towel decoration, rose petals, etc) After speaking to Concierge AND a manager he was refused. He asked to purchase a cake & was told to eat in a restaurant. Rappi failed to deliver his order properly so I literally had nothing.

Took the in-laws on their first visit to Cancun and Mexico! Everyone had a great time, ate, drank and hung out by the pool and beach. The resort was very clean and taken very good care of. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, and it was plenty of space for 5 people. The beach swing bar was great and so were Carlos' cocktails, never thirsty! The server Efrain in the breakfast buffet took the best care of us. Remembering our drinks and always happy to see us. Also, the amazing senorita at the grill made the BEST huevos rancheros (I think her name was Michelle??) This resort is right across the ocean from Isla Mujeres and is a quick to trip on the ferry to experience more of Mexico. My brother and I took a boat out to snorkel and scuba near the reef and the underwater museum, great adventure with the scuba master

Our family stayed here for 7 days, everything about this report was amazing. Super clean and nice rooms,staff was the best part all very nice and welcoming. I highly recommend families to come here. Be back soon, can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic resort, attentive staff and lovely rooms. Our pool butlers Jorge and Angel always had chairs waiting. Candelario, our pool waiter was incredibly attentive. The spa was lovely (could use a little refresh), but services were great.
