Visala Boutique Suites

We are currently staying here at the Visala and have to say that our two week stay has been absolutely amazing. From our arrival, the hotel staff could not be friendlier or more welcoming. On arrival, our bags were taken to our room which is spacious and extremely clean. The cleaning team come every day and cannot do enough for you. For breakfast there is a huge selection, and the delicious food is prepared and served by a lovely restaurant team. We have also eaten at the restaurant in the evening a couple of times, once when we first arrived and again during Balinese new year, and on both occasions the food was freshly cooked to order and was excellent value for money. The pool is not huge but seems to be the standard size for hotels of a similar capacity in Bali. The pool area which leads to the spa is very well maintained. The spa services are fabulous and very reasonably priced. Our check-out time tomorrow is 12pm but we have been allowed to keep our room on for an additional hour at no extra charge which is typical of the fantastic service you can expect here at the Visala. The reception team are so helpful and friendly all of the time. This is our first visit to Bali but won’t be our last, we will return and will definitely stay here again.

this is nowhere near a 3 star hotel . no lifts and room was stained and dated. I would go as far as saying this would be suited to backpackers. pool is about the size of a bath, tv did not work, safe had batteries in it for power held in by Sellotape only good things about this hotel are the breakfast and the location avoid at all costs

Just spent a week here Nice spacious rooms and comfy beds. Small hotel, breakfast has a decent choice to choose from American breakfast, Aussie breakfast, french toast, pancakes, Indonesian noodle breakfast, all is ordered not that horrid continental rush for food, to be fair if they can they will cook what you ask for i.e eggs on toast, omelettes! The country and community suffered massively during covid, little bit evident here as the hotel does need minor improvements and updating in some areas but cant help but feel this would not be the case had covid not cussed so much poverty and hardship in Bali. Would happily stay here again and my standards are not low by any means. One downfall in the accessibility is poor, no lifts and the restaurant is in the top floor 2-3 flights of stairs and the pool is down steep stairs, not accessible for anyone frail or in a wheel chair Other downfall is £15 to keep the room for 2 extra hours due to flight times but they have to earn money somehow! Special thanks to Komang for the warm hospitality! Beach also a bit of a trek but good ti stat active! Lots of shops, restaurants and bars nearby as well as Spa’s that are worth a visit! 2 hour drive to ubud in a car but would be quicker by scooter traffic is a nightmare in Bali! but this place worth a stay especially if you prefer somewhere f

Not only is the hotel on its own value for money, in a great location, etc. but the staff do truly go above and beyond like I have rarely seen. I have spent appox 5yrs of my life travelling for work and pleasure and this place is definitely in the top for hospitality. I enjoyed my stay so much I booked another five nights when I return to Bali in a month :)

We have had several visits to Visala… always return for several reasons… 1. Fabulous staff.. the team at Visala are amazing.. always make us feel so very welcome! 2. Spacious rooms & recent renovations mean bathrooms have been upgraded. 3. Prices are very competitive 4. Within walking distance to beach, shops, bars etc.. or Bluebird cab to any other areas
