Misleading Photographs and Sleeping in the Kitchen

Have stayed at Vitors village twice before so knew what to expect. Decided to pay extra for new upgraded Junior Suite, photos and description show better room decor, balcony and nice extras. Sadly, this was not the case- no balcony, noisy fridge all night and you were sleeping in the kitchen!!.Photo attached. Spoke to reception advising we would change to lower graded room but told because we were staying for longer than 7 nights there was nothing available but to check next day. Next day, I checked again with reception, Manuel on duty, laughed at me and said the supervisor was sick and to wait another day, but I should have phoned beforehand to check if the room had a balcony- all the photos show a balcony and they still do! Manuel then told me to use the communal area as a balcony, which meant I had to walk past 5 other apartments and sit on the rooftop. The plus of the holiday was the good pool area with plenty of sunbeds and spotlessly clean all the time. Breakfast was just right with good choice of hot and cold buffet.

This is the 4th time.e I've been to vitors village and have already booked again for next year. This is our place of relaxation it is so calm and tranquil with a lovely little village square a walk away. I requested to have the same room as last year and was placed in it❤️ The place still looks as fresh and clean as it did 4 years ago and I think a bit of refurbishment has been done as well. Thank you vitors village 😘

Lovely complex, spotlessly clean, and tranquil with lovely scenery and gardens rooms are spacious and well equipped The pool was freezing (time of year) but it's massive and my children loved it! location is good but without a car we would have struggled, not really anywhere to walk to but we drove about and there is plenty to see and do, day and night we would stay again

We have just returned from a week self catering here and cannot really fault it. The hotel grounds and pool areas are beautiful and immaculate. The apartment we were in was a great size, immaculately clean and had everything you needed for a weeks stay. The hotel is at the top of a hill, a short walk down to the town and square with plenty of bars and restaurants for enjoyable evenings. During our stay we went on a half day catamaran boat trip from portimao and have to say it was fantastic, the food and drink was great and activities superb. would definitely recommend using Ubers as transport as these were so easy to order and cheap. Would definitely recommend the hotel and area and would return.
