AWFUL EXPERIENCE- DO NOT COME HERE

Family of 8 booking from Sept 6- Sept 13 First night, our bed was covered in someone else's Fluids. It smelt awful, my child was laying on the bed and instantly said is the bed just cold or is it wet. We took a look and it was wet with someone else's URINE!!! We got to the hotel at 9:00pm - checked in at 10:00pm took our luggage to the room, off loaded our clothes, changed the kids,hit the snack bar, and walked to see the pool. Came back to the hotel at 11:45pm come to find out the bed was soiled. Front desk said we advised her of the situation to late at 12:15pm Front desk said she is by herself and nothing we can do until 8am in the morning. When was begged her to bring a cot, bring a new mattress call someone to help he answer was i am alone. I can't help except look to see if there's another room. Found another room, and when we entered IT WAS OCCUPIED by another family. That family yelled at us and we just had to apologize and head back to the room that have the body fluids on the bed. This is just the beginning. Found mold on the bed, have pictures to show, the back doors do not lock so it's easy to enter. And the front doors anyone can enter as they do not have a safety lock.

We loved Rita’s singing!! She knew how to wake up the crowd and get the people dancing. She even took our request for my little sister’s birthday, and my own, which was really kind of her. Ian was very patient with the kids at the trapeze, even when they cried once they got to the top and were scared to hold the bar. Marina always took care of us when there was an event outside, and fetched us to participate if we were too shy. As for the main show guy Danny cool, just a fun guy to be around and amazing for getting us warmed up for the show. Food was always amazing and barmans are hilarious.

Resort for a day Excursion

We booked the hotel as part of Margaritaville's Cruise excursions. The pick up and drop off from the cruise to the resort was smooth and easy. The Bahama Mama's that were made in the lobby bar were very good. However, both pools were extremely dirty. The pools had a lot of particles in them and the water was very hazy. Very disgusting. Then the womens bathroom by the pool had 1 stall with no paper and the other stall had no lock. It's pretty evident that they do not do their rounds cleaning them or maintaining those particular bathrooms. The bathroom by the lobby was much better and cleaner. The lunch was very plain. Literally paid $150 for that excursion to eat fries and pizza. There were very few options. The desserts were nothing to call special as they had no flavor. Unfortunately, a kid ended up coughing all over the dessert table and I wasn't able to try the other options (just the few I had put on my plate before she coughed on the table). The waiting staff seemed nice and friendly, but not as attentive as other resorts I've seen in the Caribbean. There didn't seem to be a lot of people at the resort and it just seemed blah. *****NOTE: If you're on the Margaritaville cruise DO NOT book this excursion. It's not worth the $150 per person that you pay. ******
