Visit number 9 to the Torba - 2nd time since the rebuild - and it is excellent as always. We came as a family this time, with our daughter, son in law and 14 month old grandson and were treated like old friends from arrival onwards. Check in was a smooth process, handled for us by our assigned Guest Relations person, Muhammad who was a great help throughout our stay. I had emailed ahead, requesting particular rooms if possible and a special thankyou to Mehmet and the Reception team for sorting that for us. We had Olive Garden rooms and they are spacious, comfortable and clean - much larger than the rooms before the rebuild. They are situated around a pool and a local bar so no need to wander far for a dip or a drink. Thanks to Honor for keeping us refreshed when lazing by the pool. There is a large main buffet restaurant and a variety of a la carte ones on site. Most of the a la carte ones open for lunch (included in the price of the stay - payable for booked evening meals) and there is also a food service at the beach ordered by QR code and delivered to your sunbed. In addition to this there is a Cuisine 24 a la carte restaurant that is included in the price. All food is of high quality as is the service. It was a shame that, when we visited the Fish Restaurant for lunch, that day it was too breezy for their automatic sun shades to deploy, and they had no backup parasols to provide shade. As we wanted shade, particularly for our grandson, we were unable to eat there. We are one evening at the Turkish a la carte restaurant which was excellent and we must thank the staff and Hamdullah, Guest Relations Manager for arranging that for us. The beach bar seating area has been extended since our previous visit and is still comfortable with great service. My wife and I are fussy when it comes to our drink (we have a drink to enjoy it rather than to get drunk) and like Bacardi (not Havana Club or Captain Morgan) with regular Coke (not diet or zero) and a special thanks to Osman and the bar staff for ensuring this was sorted for us. The entertainment is very good with an almost concert-like feel to the live acts performing on the Danza stage. We've yet to go anywhere where the entertainment is better. There was some entertainment at the beach bar some evenings earlier than the main performance at the Danza area which was good. It would've been nice to have live music during an early evening drink (before dinner) which we have experienced in another hotel we have stayed in. To sum up, a big thank you to all staff at the hotel for treating us as friends and we can't wait to see you all again soon. Cheers!
