We arrived at the hotel after a late flight. No drink offered at check in and left waiting whilst check in was completed. We were tired and thirsty and a drink would have been welcomed. We were upgraded to a villa, which was great. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. Drink quality was poor. Food quality and variety of food, however was excellent. We chose to eat in the Al a cartes, but do not agree with the surcharge the hotel charges for these. I travelled on my own with 2 children and spent approximately £200 Euros on food in these restaurants alone. Yes, we could have eaten in the buffet, but this is not for us. Staff we came across didn’t speak great English, so at times found it difficult ordering food/drinks and dealing with queries. It’s the first time I’ve been to a hotel in Turkey and had to use Google translate. Our WhatsApp assistant was useful and quick at replying when I did message her. The water park, is not really a waterpark. It’s a small area with approximately 6 slides/ flumes. There were several Turkish families staying in the hotel whilst we were there and we felt they received preferential treatment, especially round the pool areas and in restaurants. More often than not my coffee turned up after I’d finished my breakfast. We did have a lovely holiday, but would we return? No!
