Perfect for honeymooners

We chose Wapa di Ume Sidemen as the final stop on our honeymoon in Bali, and we couldn’t have been happier. Everything was perfect, from the service and amenities to the calm surroundings. A special mention goes to their spa, which has stunning views of the rice fields. We can’t wait to come back!

The View from our bedroom and bath was absolutely stunning. Feels as if we're right in middle of tropical rain forest and surrounded by rice terraces too. Huge bed, extremely comfortable. Service was excellent. Everyone happy and smiling. Cleanliness excellent too.

Luxurious resort in the east of Bali

We were received by Utari who immediately made us feel welcomed and cared for. After the normal check in procedures we were offered welcomed drinks and a protection ritual tying a tridatu in our wrists. Our tent was minimalistic and luxurious at the same time. The landscaping is inspired and graceful. Restaurant is always fresh despite the hot weather. All staff were always helpful and friendly. We took a one day trip and our driver and guide, Bobo, was fantastic. He was kind, giving us information without being excessive and gently allowing us to go in our own pace. The place is as (or more) beautiful than the photos show.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Wapa di Ume Hotel – everything from start to finish was simply perfect. The hotel is a beautiful, peaceful retreat with thoughtfully designed rooms, stunning views, and a calming atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and incredibly kind. The absolute highlight of our stay was the tour we took with Budi as our guide. Budi is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the region, its culture, and history, but also deeply passionate about sharing it. He has a wonderful way of bringing stories to life – with warmth, humor, and genuine respect for the local traditions. He took us to cultural gems, introduced us to authentic Balinese experiences, and made us feel truly connected to the land and its people. His joyful spirit and sincere enthusiasm turned the tour into one of the most meaningful experiences of our entire trip.

Don’t usually write resort reviews, but the outstanding service, beautiful facilities, and warm hospitality at this property truly impressed me—and deserve recognition. One person who made a lasting impression was a young staff member named Gede. He was incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Gede took the time to explain all the must-see spots in the area, gave us tips on the best times to visit, and even offered helpful advice on how to get there. As a driver himself, his local insight was spot on. His English is excellent, and he was always approachable, making our experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. If you have the chance to speak with Gede during your stay, don’t miss it—he’s a fantastic resource and a wonderful representative of the resort. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. Highly recommended!
