I traveled to the Westgate Lakes and Spa May 3-7, 2026. The day I arrived I went into my room to use the bathroom. The bathroom sink had not hotwater. I called the front desk to report it. Alos by the couch, there was sticky stuff all over the floor. I reported that as well. They came up to mop the floor but they never fixed the bathroom sink. I reported it twice. No hot water at all in the bathroom sink. Secondly I pulled the sheets back and my sheets had stains on them. I asked for new sheets. They dropped off a new set and placed it on the couch. I have NEVER seen a resort that did not make the bed up for you. People smoking weed there is a big problem as well.

the hotel is very good but there is no bus to any where apart from universal studios which the resort sells and all the parks . the resort is a bit out of the way you need a uber for international drive were there was plenty to eat and drink .There are no buses from the resort you have to get a uber to everywhere we walked to warmart but it was long so had get a uber back. The resort shop and food was a high price . the resort water park was not free and not worth the money it should be free and it is small. sometimes the bars were not open at the pool. The pub on site was good the food was good but again expensive ..the only park which was nearby was seaworld but uber only about 7 dollars there but went up coming back everywhere they add tax to the price of everything something to keep in mind

Don’t do it!

My family and I have always stayed at westgate for years! But this visit was just terrible. For one there was no hot water at all so we had to shower with cold water for 3 days. The bathtub didn’t work. (There was no water that came out of it) and there was even mold inside of the bathtub. The security to get into the actual hotel part is so busy talking to everyone that there’s always a huge line to get in. This place has really downgraded … and to think this is a timeshare?!?!

A deeply disturbing racism experience and coercive sales tactics

I am writing this to formally complain about a racism experience I had during a timeshare presentation at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa. Despite the resort having already verified my profession and income level to qualify me for the presentation, the female staff member assigned to me treated me with zero professional respect. She began by pointing her finger at me and asking, "Do you speak English?" Once we sat down at the table, she demanded to know where I was from and immediately brought up North Korea and "Kim Jong-un" (getting the name wrong) while laughing in my face. I find it highly offensive and unnecessary for a staff member to fixate on my national origin. There was no professional reason to question my background or my language skills in this manner. It was a clear racism experience where my ethnicity was used as a topic for irrelevant and disrespectful comments. Furthermore, the session was incredibly coercive. She repeatedly pressured me to agree with her opinions, disregarding my actual preferences. At least three times, she insisted her views were "for my own good" and "for my future," forcing me to confirm her perspective rather than listening to mine. It is insulting to be valued for my financial status while being belittled for my race. I expect a formal response from management regarding this individual’s biased and unprofessional conduct.
