OK But With One Major Flaw

I stayed here in May for a business trip and the value was OK. It is about 30 minutes from the airport. I was very happy to be able to check in early and the room was decent and the staff was pleasant. Despite setting the thermostat at 65, it never got down to that temperature. The bed and pillows were OK. You could hear people out in the hallway but not in the rooms nextdoor. The bathroom supplies include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body cream. The hot water was immediate and plentiful and the shower pressure was good. I appreciated having the use of a makeup mirror. However, there is one major sanitary flaw and that is that the toilet did not have a seat cover. I don't think I have ever encountered that in a hotel, especially one that purports to be a higher class property, unless the commode was in its own room that could be closed off. This is extraordinarily unsanitary as water particles, including anything else that is in the water, float up into the air upon flushing and land on everything in the bathroom. Additionally, not having a toilet seat cover also increases the odds of possibly accidentally dropping something into the toilet. I was very surprised by this. There are so many places to stay in Orlando that if I have other options, I will likely look elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel! Super fun with lots do do! Super clean and nice. But Sandy in Tesoro Cove made it the best breakfast experience by far! So kind and wonderful and took care of everything! She is fabulous!
