One of the true highlights of our stay at You & Me Maldives was the incredible service and support we received from our personal host, Yasir. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcomed, relaxed, and completely cared for. Yasir has a natural warmth and professionalism that instantly puts you at ease. Throughout our stay, he was consistently thoughtful and attentive—checking in with us daily, assisting with everything from restaurant bookings to excursions, and always ensuring that every aspect of our trip ran smoothly. What made Yasir truly stand out was his genuine care; he wasn’t just performing a role—he truly wanted us to have the best experience possible, and it showed in everything he did. Every interaction with him felt sincere and personal, and nothing was ever too much trouble. His calm demeanor, attention to detail, and kindness made such a lasting impression on us. Thanks to Yasir, our entire stay felt effortless and elevated, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he did to make our time at the resort so memorable. He is an absolute credit to the You & Me team, and we feel lucky to have had him as our host. The restaurant staff at You & Me Maldives were fantastic throughout our stay, always creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made every meal enjoyable. We especially want to highlight Viamm and Manoj, who truly stood out and made our dining experiences memorable. Viamm has a genuine warmth and engaging personality—he loves connecting with guests and took the time to chat with us regularly. During Maldivian night, he shared fascinating stories about the local culture that added an extra layer of meaning to the evening. His recommendations were always spot on, making it easy and fun to try new dishes. Manoj was friendly, polite, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. He always greeted us with a warm smile and made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. His thoughtful gestures—like topping up our drinks before we even asked—showed how much he cared about making our experience enjoyable. Both of them went out of their way to make us feel welcome and valued, creating a friendly, personal atmosphere that truly enhanced our stay. Their kindness and care were definitely a credit to the hotel. The housekeeping team at You & Me Maldives was fantastic, keeping our room spotless and comfortable throughout our stay. We especially want to mention Mohammed, who greeted us every day with a bright smile and a friendly attitude that really made us feel at home. His attention to detail and dedication didn’t go unnoticed—everything was always perfectly arranged and clean. Mohammed’s cheerful presence added a positive vibe to our stay and was a big part of what made our experience so enjoyable. The team at Mission Water Sports was professional, friendly, and made sure every activity was safe and enjoyable. Whether we were snorkeling, paddleboarding, or trying out other water activities, they were always there to guide us and offer helpful tips. Their enthusiasm and expertise made the experience both exciting and relaxing, giving us the chance to fully enjoy the stunning surroundings. It was clear they genuinely cared about making our time on the water unforgettable. This was truly a paradise holiday of a lifetime. Holiday in paradise!

We have special memories of our Uthurumaafaru island visit. From landing in Male we were gently swept up by the You and Me (The Cocoon Collection) staff who made the check-in and transfer to the Sea Plane very easy. We were efficiently… Show more transferred to the sea plane terminal and escorted to the You and Me private lounge until our flight was ready. This was a great spot to relax, refuel and observe some sea plane activity from the balcony before the next stage of our journey. The sea plane journey was a spectacle. Once we got to the island which you can immediately see is stunning, we were greeted in true Maldivian style by the staff and enjoyed welcome drinks during the check-in procedure. Our Island Host was Firas and as the days followed he ensured we were looked after, checked in on us regularly/helped set up our 'itinerary' and gave us daily updates. Activity wise we enjoyed walking around the island, giant chess, snorkeling and paddleboarding. The watersports centre can provide you with complementary equipment if needed. Fins are advisable as the currents can be strong. We saw a whole host of underwater life: sharks, turtles, rays and plenty of tropical fish. There is yoga and a gym available too, but we were too busy either fish gazing from our deck/snorkeling or eating! There are also plenty of excursions and a diving centre available if you fancy more activities. There was an evening entertainment programme too ranging from a DJ, to a Manta Ray talk, to live music and local Maldivian music. All staff are professional, courteous, and go above and beyond to look after you. There are so many who make each day special. A special mention to Viaam, Harry, Faroj, Delia, Rose, Angel, Dilshan. We celebrated our anniversary and we really appreciate the gestures made to make it special. The whole island feels like a family and you are immediately made to feel right at home. We stayed in a water villa with pool and it was beautiful. All amenities in the room were great, huge shower, bath, slippers, soft towels and robes, toiletries were lovely and the room was serviced twice a day. Housekeeping do an excellent job and they too left us a special message on our anniversary :-) Food/beverages are prepared excellently. Food is high quality and there is plenty of choice, dishes are marked also with allergens noted which helps put your mind at ease if this applies to you. We dined in The Sand (Breakfast/Dinner), Green Carpet (Lunch), La Pasta and The Rising Sun (Dinner - Bookable) and enjoyed a cocktail or too in The Cheers Bar. We enjoyed a 'Floating Breakfast' too, tailored to our requests and it was a memorable and fun experience to do. Tip: Water shoes are a good idea as the coral is sharp underfoot. Flip-flops/flat sandals are your footwear of choice on the island or even go barefoot. Show less
