You & Me Maldives

We stayed here for two weeks in November. This was our fifth time to the Maldives, each time a different island. You & Me didn’t disappoint. Beautiful island, great staff, great food. We loved how it was Al La carte in all the restaurants. The food was amazing. Freshly cooked and we looked forward to each and every meal. Green Carpet for lunch was probably our favourite. Service was exceptional and our glasses were never empty. Had an amazing lunch experience at the H2O, again food was exceptional and staff very attentive. The Cheers bar was a great place to go! Staff there worked so hard. Many thanks to, Yaan, Shinte, Alan (best Caipirinha’s). Please forgive me if I haven’t mentioned you by name. You were all superb and we were very grateful to you all. We would also like to thank, Viaam, Pincher, the lovely guy who took us out on the catamaran, in the rain! Also Masey, Wasana, Rose, the wonderful fruit man who was very patient with me every morning and lunchtime! I would also like to thank our island host Rafu. Nothing was ever too much trouble. You looked after us in a very special way. We will be forever grateful. If you are thinking of coming to You & Me Cocoon, do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed. I

We had a fabulous experience. Thank you. The Island was small, quiet, exceptionally luxurious. Only around 100 villas on the Island. The restaurants and poolside facilities were perfect, never felt over crowded, always easy to find a sunbed or cabana. Food was very health driven, perfect portion sizes, mainly seafood options, exellent varied salads and exquisite service and staff. Good quality drinks and super Cheers bar! The Rising Sun japanese experience is a "must". We didn't do H2O since we had previously experienced something very similar. There was some form of entertainment every night on the beach finishing with dancing and a DJ - great fun although some of the music was more geared to 18 - 25 year olds with short bursts of mixed rave music. The dance floor emptied quickly when this happened. Shame there was not more popular music through the genres since the majority of guests were older. We were well looked after by all and nothing was too much trouble, staff really get to know the guests on this Island. The Villa was exactly what we viewed on the website, beautiful outlook, lots of sealife to see from the balcony, a sunrise view and nothing dangerous swimming around! The "alfresco" shower was superb. Very clean and great housekeeping twice daily - thank you. The water was crystal clear, warm and quite shallow although at times a strong current prevailed. Watersports were available with free kayaking on hand. This is a great holiday for couples who need to relax, unwind and have a break from hectic life.... Great place to declare your love for your partner or get married, very romantic. Can't thank everyone enough - they all played a vital role with their candour and helpfulness - really made our holiday...just a quick shout out to Rose, Adey, Martin, Firas and Shinate...thank you.

Just returned from a fabulous 7nt stay at You & Me Maldives. My husband chose this resort to celebrate his 60th birthday & also our wedding anniversary and it was a great choice. From the moment we stepped off the plane into Velana Airport, we were greeted all the way by You & Me representatives, which made a smooth for our Seaplane flight. Our arrival at the resort was like a dream, the staff were waiting on the pier to greet us, once they had introduced themselves, the drums started playing & we felt like we were in a movie- wonderful!! Our resort host was Shinaz & honestly- he made our stay so relaxing & enjoyable. After the check in was done, Shinaz took us in the buggy for a tour around the resort before settling us into our overwater Aqua villa with pool- beautiful, did not want to leave. Shinaz also arranged everything from our meals in various restaurants to Spa Treatments. He updated us every day with our itinerary and what was taking place in the resort. He checked on us daily to ensure everything was okay & if we needed anything changed etc. On our first night after dinner, we had to call Shinaz for directions to get back to our villa, however, he arrived personally at the restaurant & took us back. I was so embarrassed the next day to find that if we walked in the opposite direction, we were less than 10mins from our villa- sorry Shinaz. All the staff we encountered were fantastic, to name a few: Iboo in the Watersports centre -great hip movement in the Maldivian night. Waiter Yaan in the Cheers bar- a comedian! Resort Manager Mina- she checked in with us regularly to make sure we were happy & had lovely chats. Chef Silva in the Rising Sun Teppanyaki restaurant- a fantastic chef- we ate there twice, entertaining & great food.👏🏽 Chef Milan - not sure if that’s the correct spelling- he made us a fantastic special meal to celebrate our anniversary & my husband’s birthday - thank you so much. 🙏🏽 The highlight of our stay was the underwater restaurant H2O- we had looked at this so much on YouTube & it was better than anything you could imagine. Restaurant host Sunmi (not sure of spelling) was great, very attentive and friendly. We met with the chef’s who explained the 7 course meal they were preparing for us, it was delicious and out of this world!! 👏🏽👏🏽 Thank you also to Zhoni- the Spa Manager- our complimentary massages were amazing. Thank you to everyone at You & Me Maldives for making our stay a memorable experience, we hope to return soon. Special thanks to Shinaz- truly remarkable, we are both grateful that you were our resort host and hope to see you when we return.

It has been a wonderful experience is a must if you ever go to Maldives. The rooms, the food, the activities, the team everything is at its best. Gul has been a wonderful host and help throughout the week.
