Lovely hotel and friendly staff who were always helpful, smiling with great English. Very relaxing and beautiful views looking down the hill towards the sea. . Food is amazing! Beach walks were enjoyable. Thank you Zante and the lovely staff at the Zante Maris Suites.

An incredible hotel but maybe experience should be the right word to use. From the first moment you enter the wooden fence you are greeted with friendly faces all eager to make your stay as welcome as possible. I was expecting a lot after reviewing the other comments but it more than lived up to the hype. A special shoutout must go to the staff, from Jenni, to Esteban, Isabella and Giannis to the other tireless workers. They do a fantastic job making sure you have everything you need. The trip wouldn’t be the same with them all. There are a lot of events throughout the week to keep you busy and best of all if you just want to unwind and relax by the pool there is always ample space. You never feel the venue is overly packed. Location wise the hotel is quite central to Planos but you can easily commute around. You may hear about the hill and stairs upwards back to the hotel but you can actually book a buggy to go up and down this if you aren’t the hiker. The only tiny criticism is the wasps, but this is not the hotels doing. They have various techniques to help alleviate the pesky ones who may come to you by your private pools and sometimes at dinner and it seems to have done the trick. If you are looking for a perfect trip to Zakynthos then look no further than Zante Maris Suites.

Modern design meets warm, attentive, skilful hospitality. The place looks immaculate and very cool. The room (we had 203 with a private pool) was beautiful with a big comfy bed and a large pool to relax in. The food was great (we stayed half board) and plentiful - but the thing that makes this beautiful small resort is the incredible staff. It’s hard to pick out any individuals as they are all so wonderful. The ultimate Zante chill hotel. We loved staying here. Very highly recommended.

My husband and I have just arrived home from a week long stay at Zante Maris suites where we had the most amazing time. Everything about the hotel is beautiful and designed for a very tranquil experience, with stunning views over Tsivili to the sea. The main pool always had plenty of comfy loungers available, was nicely heated and the team regularly brought out cold drinking water in addition to the bar service available for other drinks and food throughout the day. We had a swim up room and I was lucky enough to experience one of their floating breakfasts on my birthday. My husband organised it as a surprise but said that the staff could not do enough to make it extra special, they even added a birthday cake and a bottle of prosecco for us. The swim up pool was shared with 3 other rooms but was always quiet and the terrace area felt very private and was great for when you wanted more shade. The best thing about Zante Maris Suites though is 100% the staff, they genuinely want to ensure you have the best possible time, they're so friendly, work brilliantly together as a team and clearly all take such pride in the jobs. We had dinner in the hotel on a few occasions, including the night of the wine tasting and the Zakynthian night, both of which I highly recommend, we have come home with a new found love of Greek wines! The town of Tsivili is much more buzzy than the hotel, with a lot of families and younger groups, so we had a few misses when venturing out for lunch and dinner, but I highly recommend: The Mulberry Tree - 10-15 min walk into town, turn right at the sign for Bowl M Over. Afrala - a good 45 min walk away, or a 5-10 minute taxi, down on the beach. We also took a fantastic ceramics class at Adamieion which we found on Viator. It was a 20 minute walk away from the hotel into the hills, but the shuttle service found us on the walk back and offered us a much appreciated ride on a very hot day. I also highly recommend booking some spa treatments. We each had a relaxing massage treatment, but then we were treated to some little pool side extras including a wonderful neck and shoulder massage and face massages on our last day.
