This was the worst hotel i've stayed at and we are not particularly fussy. The hotel is on a busy road with no pavement. First room (2ndfloor) was cramped. The spa was closed for rénovation so no spa and drilling noise! We were awoken at 6am by the clattering of tablewear and background music from the breakfast hall. They offered us a bigger room on higher floor. It stank of mould. Unfortunately the 3 or 4 other rooms they showed us were also bad so we took the room offered as the Management refused point blank to reimburse us so that we could find something more suitable. There was water seeping out of the flooring when stepped on so that it was always wet. Having a shower meant flooding the bathroom each time because it was badly désigned. Breakfast mediocre at best. Pool water too cold so that on a breezy day, we were too cold. Filthy common areas that dont seem to have been cleaned once in our 5 day stay. The only positive point is that the employees were very pleasant and empathetic. Not only do i not recommend the hotel, i encourage you to cancel réservations in the near future. When we booked it a while back, comments were good. We looked again recently and saw they had gone down. A lot of improvement needed and we were upset at wasting so much time on holiday just trying to be comfortable with unpleasant and unjust management staff.
